The women’s teams that have already qualified are: Australia, China, France, the Netherlands, South Africa, Spain and the United States. One additional country will also qualify at the 2024 European Championships, to be held January 5-13.

At the 2024 World Aquatics Championships, Canada will be in Group 4 with Italy, South Africa and a European country to be determined following the European Championships. The group stage schedule for the Canadian team will be as follows:
-February 4: South Africa
-February 6: European country to be confirmed
-February 8: Italy

Before the Championships, the Canadian Team will travel to California for a training camp with Team USA. They will then fly to Brisbane to continue their preparation with Team Australia. USA and Australia have both already qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games women’s water polo tournament.
