Club Assistance Program


Water Polo Canada is pleased to announce the Club Assistance Program (CAP), formerly known as the Domestic Development Funding Assistance Program (DDFAP), has been renewed for the 2021 season.  

 

The purpose of the CAP is to provide financial assistance and service support to clubs, Provincial Sport Organizations (PSO), and other organizations at the discretion of Water Polo Canada (WPC) towards their already existing grassroots and educational initiatives and springboard the development of new initiatives. The CAP will focus solely in the following areas of domestic activities:

  • Children’s water polo programs 12 and under 
  • Referee development
  • Coach development
  • Safe sport
  • Women and girls' participation in water polo
  • Modified Water Polo Initiatives

 

The program year is determined as January 1st through May 31st, 2021. Organizations  will be invited to apply to access funding of up to $3000 per project, with an annual maximum of 2 projects and $6,000 per organization. Organizations applying for funding will be asked to contribute funds from their own respective budgets towards the project.

 

Submissions will be reviewed during one application period. The submission deadline is on Monday, November 23, 2020.

Applications can now be made through Google Forms!  

STEP 1: Download the budget spreadsheet

STEP 2: Fill out the Project Budget sheet

STEP 3: Save the budget spreadsheet on your computer

STEP 4: Complete the Google Form

 

 

FINAL REPORT

Final reports are now submitted through Google Forms. If your application is approved, you will receive an email with an acceptance letter, funding agreement and a copy of the CAP budget that you submitted. The funding letter will include a due date for your final report. Please follow the steps below to submit the final report.  

STEP 1: Fill out the Final Budget sheet in your budget spreadsheet (sent to you by email)

STEP 2: Save the budget spreadsheet on your computer

STEP 3: Complete the Google Form
