The Junior National Team (20U & Odd Birthyear) aged athletes compete for Canada in age specific Pan American Championships and World Championships. These athletes are selected and monitored across the country through Regional Development Centers (RDC) programs in line with our athlete pathway.
Junior programs follow a two year cycle in which team selections are made for both individual years. Year one’s culminating event is a Pan American Championship which acts as a qualifier for year two’s culminating event of a World Championship. Teams would be centralized in Montreal, Quebec at the Institut National du Sport located within the Olympic Park's Sports Centre, prior to the events with various joint training opportunities abroad.
